The constitution of Electrimeca was born from the idea and joint project of José Figueiredo and José Pisco, who, connected to the fields of electricity and hydraulics and aware of the lack of specific solutions for water pumping, identified a business opportunity and ventured into the market.

Founded in 1973, in Cascais, in a small garage of a residential building, Electrimeca initially aimed to produce electrical panels for pumping systems. In the first two decades, it grew as a small company, gradually consolidating itself as a reference in the sector.
